I never was a sleepy person, waking up at sunrise, carving spoon and seeing day brightening I love, but month ago I intentionally started to go in bed earlier than usual because it is said that the best sleep is between 10 pm and midnight and unintentionally started to waking up even before sun, at 4, 5am.
I knew that after surgery I won't be able to carve spoons, so I borrowed few books from my neighbour and among them was that book, 5am club. It came like ordered and I've immediately started to read it to see what lies behind waking up so early.
Now after reading it a half I can say it is amazing!
Before coming to half of book, I bought my own copy. Book is full of great sentences, sayings and quotes that you will want to underline and mark. This should teenagers read in schools to give them a push to beautiful life that comes in front of them.
But I recommend it to everyone.
Years ago on holiday I read a book written by Robin Sharma, The Monk who sold his Ferrari, another great book.
Usually I take time to read books only on seaside where I try to give my "work" / carving spoons on a side just for a while, so my hands and fingers can rest and skin on fingers to regenerate.
Through year I often listen a podcasts or audio books meanwhile I carve, but now when I'm unable to carve I love taking physical book in hands, it's a different feeling than reading on phone or listening to it.
Or is this just mine thing to give my hands something to do because they really miss holding a knife and peace of wood. In past I years there wasn't a time that I wouldn't carve something for 17 days.
Enjoy mornings!
Gregor
